News update - President Bush is likely to veto a bill that seeks to have the FDA regulate tobacco further. While same say it is strictly poison, many still aren't willing to give up their smoking habits.
Teenagers will always exist and so there will always be an opportunity for the tobacco companies to get people hooked while they are young. They continue to stock so many stores and markets worldwide. It would be safe to say that the exposure to tobacco has become an inevitable part of peoples lives. Some would say we need to ban cigarettes, others say no on the right to ban them.

July 29, 2008 - 5.8 earthquake hits southern California - San Bernardino
7/29/08 - People go on about there day following a magnitude 5.8 earthquake. Some think of it as a normal California tremor. Others are worried that it may be a precursor to something much worse.
Just southwest of Chino Hills, the epicenter has caused questionable damage to water lines and other infrastructure. It is now suggested that residents check their homes for gas leaks and other problems that may occur as a result of a strong earthquake as this.
It also appears that some telephone and emergency services have been disrupted throughout southern California including San Bernardino, Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside and many others.
